New starter training

This course is designed for new starters who have little experience of SystmOne.

During this course, new starters will not be provided with information on local GP practice processes so before booking you should ensure that they have received a local induction.  

Duration: 2.5 hours 

An example of what is covered at a new receptionist training session:

  • Navigate the home screen
  • Book, cancel and move an appointment
  • Use the free slot search function
  • Print a quick glance view
  • Search for patient records
  • Navigate the clinical and administrative trees
  • Access pathology results
  • Administer repeat template requests
  • View prescription history
  • Update addresses and contact details
  • Send tasks, notifications and instant messages

SystmOne clinical reporting – introduction 

This course is designed for those who are new to creating Clinical Searches and Reports in SystmOne.

Duration: 2 hours

During the course you will learn how to:

  • Navigate the inbuilt reports in SystmOne
  • Create a new report using multiple criteria
  • Apply date ranges
  • Join reports
  • Output results to patient lists and reports

SystmOne protocols - introduction

This course is designed for those who are new to creating protocols in SystmOne.

Duration: 2 hours 

During the course you will learn how to:

  • Create and publish a new protocol
  • Apply a range of tools and triggers
  • Amend, deactivate and delete a protocol
  • Apply a protocol to a patient list

Registration and EDI links

This course is designed for those who are new to Registration and EDI Links.
If you are experienced and have a couple of queries we can support you via the telephone and connect remotely to your PC.

Duration: 2 hours 

During this course you will learn how to:

  • Register new patients (GMS, temporary, immediately necessary, homeless)
  • Edit demographic details
  • Deduct patients
  • Print patient records
  • Manage EDI Links messages
  • Process FP69 messages
  • Use Security Controlled Procedures

This course is designed for those who are new or have little experience of GP2GP.

Duration: 2 hours 

During this course you will learn how to:

  • Process a Transfer-in task
  • Process a Transfer-in - Returning Patient task
  • Deal with degraded data
  • Manage GP2GP transfer in and out screen
  • Print attachments
